Capello was born in Pieris, Italy, in 1946, and made his debut as a professional football midfielder in 1964 with the SWIC, where he spent three seasons before moving to Rome, where he won the Italian Cup. He later sold to Juventus, where he played during the 1970s. He also played for Italy, and won fame by scoring for Italy in 1973 to help defeat England at Wembley for the first time. He ended his playing career with AC Milan in 1980.
Capello's debut as a football coach at the beginning of 1990s, and has won various titles with every team that has been in latihnya, among them with AC Milan, Real Madrid, Roma and Juve.
